are Grand Adventure Vinyl Play Systems made of?
Grand Adventure Vinyl Play Systems are manufactured
with safety as the number one priority. That's why we strictly
adhere to industry safety standards set by the ASTM. We
manufacture our swing sets using only the finest ProWood
Micro* treated yellow pine as our support structure.
This is a proven, durable wood that will hold up in the
harshest of climates.
We then encase our lumber within a vinyl sleeve which not
only protects the lumber from the elements, but gives our
play system additional structural support. The vinyl also
insures a smooth, safe, and non-splintering play surface
for your child. Our process does not wrap or heat shrink
the vinyl to the wood. It is a sleeve that slips over the
wood. This process leaves space between the vinyl and wood
that allows for the natural expansion and contraction cycles
that wood experiences under different weather conditions.

*ProWood Micro is used on boat docks, decks and the base
plates of our homes and is the World's first and only such
product to earn Environmentally Preferred Product status
from the EPA.

Will
the system "work" in my particular space? What
colors are available?
We
currently offer systems in either Almond/Hunter Green or
White/Hunter green. NOTE: Your site must be level prior
to installation. Unsure about which swing set will work

Do
your Swing Sets have age appropriate options for my child(ren)?
Can adults use these Swing Sets?
From
our super-safe Infant Swing for your smallest adventurer
to our 7' Rock Wall for your older child, we offer many
options for children of all ages. And, because of the heavy-duty
construction, adults can enjoy these play sets too!
Is
the play system expandable?
Grand
Adventure Vinyl Play Systems offers many options that will
allow your system to grow right along with your family!
With the exception of our stand-alone Preston Series, all
of our swing sets can be expanded - as long as you have
enough room!
Is
the Swing Set environmentally friendly?
YES!
From our recyclable vinyl fencing to our decking and pickets
made from recycled milk jugs and other plastics, we are
proud to offer products manufactured with the environment

Will the surface retain heat?
Because
our vinyl has 100% UV protection, it actually stays cool
to the touch even on the hottest summer days. Our poly lumber
(used for our decking and pickets) also has UV protection
and remains comfortable to walk on - even barefoot!
What
will the play system look like in 5 years? 10 years? What
about re-sale value?
Your
Grand Adventure Play System will look much the same as it
does now 10+ years down the road - all without any additional

Once
I place my order, how long will it take to get a system?
Your
Grand Adventure Play
System will be custom built to your specifications
and will arrive in 3-4 weeks.
Are there additional charges for shipping or delivery?
There
are no additional charges for shipping or delivery when
you select a Grand Adventure Play System if you are in the
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area. If you are outside
of the Twin Cities, please contact your local Dealer.
If we do not have a dealer in your area, we will assist
you with your shipping costs!
Do
I have to install the swing set myself?
All
Grand Adventure authorized dealers offer professional installation
services. We will assist you with setting up your installation
and follow-up with you once your system is in place to ensure
your total satisfaction. If you would like to install your
system yourself, we welcome you to Contact
Us if you have any questions along the way.
NOTE: Installation manuals are included with your play system
purchase. All pieces arrive pre-cut, major holes are pre-drilled
and many of your components (Rock Walls, Ladders, Monkey
Bars, etc.) will be pre-assembled for you!
